A New (And Interesting) Managed Direct3D API
Alexandre Mutel introduces A new managed .NET/C# Direct3D 11 API generated from DirectX SDK headers that avoids the use of C++/CLI entirely to enable Any CPU compilation of C# code. Looks like SlimDX finally has some worthy competition.

I just would like to inform you that this work is not going to compete with SlimDX, as it is going to be tested as a SlimDX 2 possible architecture and is currently going to be evaluated and integrated in the v2 branch, so that’s a good news for SlimDX too!
