A Kingdom to Conker!
That's the REAL name George "the Artist" Clingerman's next game should have. But no, he decided to use "A Kingdom to Conquer" as his temporary name....
Go quick and marvel at George's talent as he shares his character sketches for the ill-named game he's working on!
Would you like George’s input?
Well, not George's input, but yours! George's new sample demonstrates a wrapper around input that you can easily use in your games.
And while you're there, you can give him some feedback, because he always appreciates it, and would like to know what he can do to help everyone. Because he's the "good" MVP, apparently
And btw, for those that came back from Mars recently, George is THE MAN behind XNADevelopment.com, a great site for beginner tutorials that are well written and easy to follow.
What Is George Doing?
George W. “I Am Drinking When My Wife Ain’t ‘round” Clingerman just took a break to “eat the lunch and watch [names of a show and a famous internet video rental service removed to prevent being accused of product placement]”. He also plans to setup accounts on Twitter for each of his toes, complete with lists for his left and right foots as nothing compares to bus stories from the very roots.
Making an Xbox LIVE Indie Game
George "not focused on anything today" Clingerman just shared his thoughts on what it takes to make a quality XBLIG Game. It looks like he's planning to continually add stuff to the list, so repeatedly tap your finger on F5 for a while, until a stable state is reached.
P.S. Shameless free ads: If you have little kids, or are a little kid, make sure to take a look at George's (and ZMan's) game Kissy Poo.
More 2D collisions
After Glenn's Rotated Per Pixel Collision, George "good MVP that everyone likes" Clingerman just released a new sample that shows how to use the Separating Axis Theorem to implement 2D Rotated Rectangle Collision. Read all about it on his site.
