7 Day Challenge Number 6
David Amador announced the next XNA 7 Day Challenge. Check the his post for the full details.
XNA 7 Day Management Change
It looks like the Sergeants intelligent services failed once again and did not report the owner change of the XNA 7 Day, making the Sergeant look bad on not recognizing the one brave David Amador who took over the administration of the challenges from Nick Gravelyn more than 2 weeks ago.
As a reminder: If you want to share any XNA Game Studio/Framework related news feel free to submit them via mail to news@sgtconker.com.
XNA 7 Day Challenge On Hold For DBP
Writes Nick Gravelyn
This week I didn’t received any entries for this week’s challenge, instead I received 3 ou [sic] 4 emails mentioning the Dream Build Play deadline being so close. Which I agree since I’m trying to do something to compete as well. So in order to respect everyone’s projects I’m putting a hold on the challenges until DPB deadline.
XNA 7 Day #3 – 100k
The next instalment of XNA 7 Day has started. Details have been published and you have just short of 7 days left to submit your entry.
Interesting approach this time, here's the rule(s).
"Your entire game (counting libraries and assets) must be no larger than 100KB (uncompressed, i.e. not the size of the CCGAME, ZIP, or RAR file you send me). The goal of the challenge is to see what type of game you’re able to create with such a limited amount of space."
The submission deadline is, 12:00pm PST (GMT-8) on December 7, 2009.
As always, you can send your entry by emailing to contact@xna7day.com with the subject line “Challenge 3 Entry”.
Please remember to read the extended rules on the about page here
